Dia 2: Osaka / Day 2: Osaka

Que viagem esta, tenho corrido de autocarro nocturno em pensão de juventude, a visitar tudo o que posso em cada paragem, e isto não mata, mas cansa a sério!
O meu segundo dia foi passado ainda em Osaka, onde dediquei a manhã para o Castelo de Osaka (mas que valia bem a pena ter tido um dia inteiro só para ele). O Castelo é enorme, e ao longo dos 10 pisos tem sempre exposições, demora muito a ver, mas vale bem a pena. Eles recomendam começar do topo, apreciar as vistas (que são fenomenais) e vir descendo. Eu segui o conselho e não me arrependi.
A tarde essa foi passada numa exploração da história de Osaka desde os primórdios no Museu de História de Osaka, e depois disso num lindo parque fora do centro da cidade, onde foi realizada a Expo 90! À noitinha, e a precisar de fazer horas para o autocarro nocturno, ainda fui ao Sky Building de Umeda, ver os “Jardins Flutuantes”, como lhe chamam, e que é um observatório da cidade com 179 m de altura. Foi interessante, e as vistas dos rios de Osaka a juntarem-se ao mar foram simplesmente arrebatadoras. Depois jantei novamente em Namba, na Dotombori, e fiquei à beira-rio a ler e a apreciar a multidão de jovens que lá se encontrava a conversar, a beber, etc.
Entrei no autocarro, e parti para Hiroshima, mais uma noite na estrada! Espero que gostem das fotos.

Boy, what a trip I am into! I have been jumping around from night bus to hostel, and then to visit everything I possibly can in each stop. Ok, it doesn’t kill you but it sure is tiresome!
My second day was still in Osaka. The morning was fully dedicated to Osaka Castle (but a whole day would still allow to see many other things in there). The Castle is huge, and throughout each of the 10 floors there are exhibits, so seeing everything takes a long time, but is definitely worth it. It is recommended that you start from the top and see the marvelous panoramic views from there (that are simply breathtaking) and then coming down. I followed the recommendation and couldn’t be happier about it!
In the afternoon I went on an exploring trip to discover the mysteries of the city of Osaka since its beginning inside the Osaka Museum of History. After that I went to a lovely park on the outskirts of the city, built especially for the Expo 90! (Portugal held Expo 98!!!). At night fall I still had some time before the night bus, and went to Umeda Sky Building, to the “Floating Gardens”, which in fact are a simple circular observatory, 179 m high. It was so interesting, to see the rivers joining the sea from up there was simply an amazing experience. I went back to Namba’s Dotombori to have dinner, just like the day before, and then I sat next to the river reading and observing all the young people around me, chatting and drinking together.
I got on the bus and left for one more night on the road, destination: Hiroshima! I hope you like the pics!
